Class Prophecy The room was dark, my hands shook with fear, my heart was pounding so hard I thought it would break, and my blood ran cold. But I had to know, I had to know! The old gypsy looked into her crystal ball, and the future opened up. The year 1973 came into a hazy view. All at once the crystal ball started to shake. As the focus became clearer, we recognized STEVE CAVIN swinging and swaying and wooing the girls. Oh, no! Someone fainted! Steve rushed to the edge of the stage aifd saw SHARON HENSLEY, the president of his fan club. Sharon has been a loyal follower since the senior c ass pla . LOISYARMSTRONG is now a dietition for the National Vegetarian Society. VIRGINIA SEDERBURG is rooted in darkest Africa working with Dr. Schweitzer as a missionary nurse. JOHN MURREN runs a big Corvette corporation in Elliott. WAYNE EWING, now living in India, has a harem. J ANA MENKE is instructing a night cooking class for husbands whose wives work. GARY KUNZE has come back to Griswold and has Cgone in with Doc the barber. The name of the shop is Doc's. This way neither one feels left out or slighte . MARILYN CARLEY is now a very well-known author of such books as, Helpful Hints to Fat Women and How to Eat Candy and Sta Slim. Out of the trees of'Kfy1Tica comes curly, black-haired DALLAS CARLISLE. He is close? followed by his Jane, MARLENE DeWlTT. Stumbling and falling over the roots is their faithful heeta, DENNIS RASMUSSEN. GARY HARMAN owns a 20,000 acre ranch. The moonlight rides are very profitable. He turned out not to be thlenguiet type. BO IE FRANK has become a versatile teacher at Commercial Extension, and it isn't all office work either. BILL TEMPLETON is found in partnership with his Dad farming the Templeton Plantation. SHIRLEY TIETZ has just opened an art school in Lyman for all who are interested. DARWYN MUELLER, who originally took up coaching as his profession, has suddenly become interested in art. HELEN CARY is running around and around the room--chasing her boss? She says she loses more employers that way. . LARRY PELZER is racing around at Playland Park in his little bumper car. CTAROLYN SMITH still hasn't figured out how to get her clothes clean with her new scrub board--she uses ide, too. LE ROY and DONALD FINNELL are working their way up in the world, They started at the South Pole and are now reported 279 miles from the North Pole. DARLENE HERING is a well-known decorator for Younkers. She specializes in Christmas decorations. JEFFREY KITCHEN and BILL SHULTZ have collaborated and published their own dictionary in hopes it will out-sell Mr. Webster's. JEANICE RIEKEN is now the chief hat check girl at the Brown Derby in California. She reports getting very ig tips. DAVID PETERSON is a family man all right--he stays home with his family and does the dishes. PAULA GAMMELL had to change her profession as a nurse because her patients couldn't take the rough treatment. d d DELL WEAVER is an ordained minister. When asked why a change of heart, he replied, Family life i it. ROSEMARY RIEPE writes advice to the love-lorn column. Her adventurous love life came in handy. LARRY BRADSHAW has become a full-time vet, but he still can't convince people that his dog talks to him. SUSAN DAVIS has joined the Women's Christian Temperance Union to abolish the disastrous drinking and smoking habits of some people. HARLAN CARY has over-hauled his car for the 2,167 time and it still doesn't run right. COLLEEN HAAS has finally become famous, she is conductor of her own little dance band, the Glinn Group. MARY BROWN is now spending her time traveling about the country giving lectures on almost any topic. 1 TED VAN HINTUM is a specially trained highway patrolman. He specializes in giving and taking away icenses. NANCY GEMMILL is still playing around--on the piano, of course. RICHARD NETTZ is now mowing the White House lawn. BURTON CONN works for Standard Oil and competes with his Dad's Phillips '66 station. CONNIE PELZER and SHARON RAY have opened up a bachelor's home. GLENN TAYLOR is now a window washer in a sorority house. He never takes holidays and works twenty-four hours a day. KAREN WAGNER has just received the Best Mother of the Year award.

MARY WHITE has her own daily Punch and Judy show for high school students. LARRY WENDT has a hog farm located in China, where he is working on a new experiment--feeding them on rice. ARLA PETERSON is now a famous dress designer in Paris. Her latest creation is stripes, polka dots, and diamonds--all in the same dress. MARJORIE HINES, dean of Annapolis, really enjoys her work. She says, lt's nice to have a man around the house. KEITH AUZIER as head of the Dairyman's Association, has discovered a way to make cows give chocolate milk. This is accomplished by feeding a balanced diet of plain chocolate Hershey bars. ZELDA HOLLDORF is found in the living room of her home knitting baby booties. She is not alone, for the patter of little feet can be heard. DUANE NEIGHBORS is now a success. He counts the 20,000 filters in Viceroy. BOB GUSTIN is a general in the navy. He joined the navy to see' the world. JUDY GLEASON is buying low heels so she can measure up to her man. 6'10 CHARLES CARSON has been adopted, as a mascot, by the Harlen Globetrotters. KAREN CASEY has her ups and downs, She runs an elevator in the Empire State Building. DANNY CARLISLE has become a professional boxer, but when the going gets rough his stand-in is MICHAEL DAVID SMITH. This is so Danny's manly beauty is saved. JERRY RHOADS is an IBM button pusher at Cape Canaveral. LEON PUTNAM is sitting on top of Telstar, checking connections between Earth and Mars. GARY IRELAND has always wanted to be a coach, and now he has his own home made team. JUDY SANNY now has a full time, large scale, baby-sitting job, She has had this job for several years. The only disadvantage is that she isn't paid so much as when she was in high school. GARY HULSEBUS is a famous known taxidermist. Since Senior Science, he's developed a craze for stuffed animals. LUELLA SUNDERMAN has put her acting ability to use, and now she is starring in the broadway hit, Sweet Violets. CAROLYN HULTQUIST has now become the first woman baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees. PAT JENNINGS is a radio sports announcer. He holds the wor1d's record for being able to rattle off baseball statistics. ANNABELLE SWISHER is working in a greenhouse. She just invented a man-catching plant. DONALD TYE liked Griswold School so well he became the head janitor. BARBARA SWISHER enjoyed cheerleading so much that she decided to run a cheerleading camp in the summer. HENRIETTA ROBINSON is head nurse at Mars. She keeps the patients in stitches. PAT PARKER is getting ready to take a trip. Everything has been checked and rechecked. The count- down is drawing close. SUSAN WILLOUGHBY is a professional wash lady, Asma gave her the idea. MICK SMITH is at a certain local nursing home. His piccolo playing is tremendous. We find SUSAN KENWORTHY going door to door with a petition to ban brush rollers. Why? Because she lost all her hair using them. SHELIA SMITH is a singing secretary. She answers the phone in three octave ranges. Then the crystal ball grew cloudy and the future was gone. I walked away with a smile on my face be- cause now I knew what the future had in store for the Senior Class of 1963.
