STANDING: Ardith Linn, ,Iadene Bridger Lynda Cramer, Janet Sothman, Marilyn Mueller, Sharon Stone, Mrs Steffen Shirlene Brown. F. H. A. The Griswold Chapter of F.I-I.A. has a total membership of 59. We initiated 21 new members into our organization this year. We have had a variety of activities. We participated in two nation- al projects: World Christmas Festival and UNESCO. Our local projects include: Wearing costumes and flags on United Nations Day, having numerous entries in the local achievement show sponsored by the Vocational Agriculture and Home Economics Departments, sponsoring Good Posture Week , making joke books for the Veterans' Hospitals, sending Christmas gifts to a poor faniily in Omaha, helping with the Ladies' Night School, cleaning the high school trophy case, and making a float for the Old Soldiers Reunion Parade. Our social activities include: Freshman initiation, F.H.A. and F.F.A. Christmas party, roller skating party, mother-daughter tea, and various holiday parties. Our outstanding fund raising carnpaign was selling greeting and Christmas cards. We also had a bake sale and ice cream social. With our money we bought our F.H.A. pins and Junior and Chapter Homeznaking Awards. We attended both the District Convention and State Convention. Our emlzlem teani had the opportunity to appear in puplic several times and gave our Emblem Services. Mrs. Wayne Steffen is our chapter advisor and our chapter xnother is Nlrs. R oy De-Witt. Our coniniittee chairnxen are: Project--.Ianet Sothman, Public Relations--Sharon Stone, Degrees--Ardith Linn, Recrea- tion--Shirley Riepe, Finance--Lynda Cramer, Membership-- Shirlene Brown.
