Here Linda Rob- The YWGH is an asset to GHS in many ways. The cabinet hands out classification cards at the begin- ning of each semester, sponsors bi- weekly programs, hasaparty for new students to get acquainted, and has a special event for each class. They also are responsible for decorating the Christmas tree in the main hall. The publications is financed by subscrip- tions and bake sales. Pencils are sold twice each year by the staff to pay for its annual chicken supper in the spring. This year the staff had special issues for our vic torio us homecoming and Christmas. This year the paper was Linder the editorship of Ruth Ann Holmes with Harriet Penquite as assistant ed- itor. James Swaney and Ronnie Gates covered sports events, while Agnes Hillman and Carlene Shockley were the business editors.
