“ August, 1974 TO ALL. GRINNELL IANS: Grinnell members of Women in Communications, Inc., are happy to present here the fifteenth annual edition of THE LITTLE iScarlet andy BLACK BOOK to help introduce all new Grinnellians to each other and to the old hands around the campus. To all, we say a warm Welcome! or Welcome back! as the case may be. This directory presents more than 400 new students -- the freshmen who make up the Class of 1978, plus transfer students -- as well as a listing of new faculty and staff members. We do regret that pictures of all new students were not available twe regret, too, that a few pictures arrived without identification or too late and therefore could not be usedl, but the names are there, and you may like trying to visualize the faces. As sponsors of this LITTLE BLACK BOOK, members of WICI offer special greetings to all new students.-- with the hope that you will take advantage of all that Grinnell can give you and that you will find R your years.here happy and rewarding. To all who have helped make THE LITTLE BLACK BOOK possible, we offer our sincere gratitude. In particular, we thank the Deans, the Office of Admissions, the Service Bureau, the Computer Services, the Office of College Relations, Ernie Renaud of the Mail Service, and the Sutherland- Printing Company. Thanks also to members of the Society of Professional Journalists, Sigma Delta Chi, for particular assistance. I 1 Finally, our special fiscal thanks go to our advertisers -- pl ase reinforce our appreciation by patronizing them! MEMBERS OF THE GRINNELL COLLEGE CHAPTER, WOMEN IN COMMUNICATIONS, INC. Kyle K.
