They are not much bigger than ‘‘a min¬ ute.” Carriellen is quiet as a mouse in school, 1 ut not so at recess. She is then very “frisky” and cuts her eyes around in a most dangerous manner.

At times he writes poetry and makes puns. He is the youngest member of the class in years and actions. Alfred can debate, draw most marvelous pic¬ tures and, in shori, is a most wonder¬ ful child.
