CLASS PROPHECY On May S, in 1970 Daisey was walking down the street preoccupied with her usual confused thoughts. She was knocked down by Rudy as she tried to enter a department store. Rudy had just made a wad selling Wblue sky stockn, so he asked her to lunch. The following is an excerpt from their conversation: DAISEY: Well, Rudy, what have you been doing with yourself lately? RUDY: I made my own money machine and business is pretty good right now. How've you been doln'? DAISEY: My husband is an executive at John Deere. We've just bought a new house in Waterbury Circle. The twins are in third grade and the triplets have just started to school. I wonder what happened to the rest of the gang? RUDY: Well, Buck is in the hospital. A pig bit him on the leg. 'Phe doctor is testing Marvin for rabies, but he says that the pig was just mad because he hadn't won the blue ribbon at the hog show, that Buck was judging. I also saw Doris Ann. She's head nurse on that floor. She says she's going to marry the Chief of Staff next month. DAISEY: I heard from Janis last week. She's been working for Molly Parness as a fashion designer. She said that she was taking a six months leave of absence to help Christian Dior with the new 'W look. RUDY: I stopped at a filling station on my wav into town. I saw Fran there. He's got a whole chain of Texaco 66 stations. He said he had invented a new chamols for easier windshield washing. Say, look who's coming! It's Karen Kismet! DAISEY: Who is she? I never heard of her. RUDY: Oh, you know, she used to be Karen Wiles. She sings with her huebandb band. It's called Bob Hailey and his Satellites. KAREN: Hello, Dahlings. Fancy meeting you here! It's been 'eons and eonsn. RUDY: Siddown, Babe. We were jawin' about the old gang. Seen any of 'em lately? KAREN: Carol wrote me from Miami last week. She's Dean of Women and head of the Physical Education Department. Poor dear, she's terribly absent-minded. She mailed her bi-focals in her letter and she can't see a thing with out them. Of course you know what Louise is doing. She travels with me as my personal psycho-analyst. DAISEY: Oh, really? Have you had any good complexes lately? BUDY: When I was out West last summer I stopped at a big museum of antique cars. Never saw so many beat hacks in my life. Dennis was there. He was running up and down the halls yelling 'Don't touch them cars! You want 'em to fall apart?' Dennis told me he owned the place. KAREN: Poor Dolores. She is leading a terribly drab life. I hear she's a secretary for a small insurance firm. She seems to be quite happy, though, with her husband and five children. What a dull existence! DAISEY: She may be leading a dull life but Twila certainly isn't. Have you seen all the posters with her picture on them? RUDY: What do they say? Wanted for bank robbery? DAISEY: No, you dope! She's running for the United States Senate. I'm helping her campaign. KAREN: Well, that's nice, I suppose, but I'm really not very interested in politics. I am more interested in culture and the finer things in life. Egad! Look at the time! I'm an hour late for rehearsal. By dahlings. DPISFY: Rattle, rattle, rattle! She's a case! RUDY: Well, doll, I guess I better bug out of here, too. See you around. DAISEY: I still have a lot of shopping to do. Drop in to see us any time you're in town.

SE l0R CLASS PLAY ONE FOR THE MONEY The Senior Class successfully presented the play 'One For The Money.' To look at Drusilla Baird one would never have suspected that her head was buzzing with romantic daydreams. She had rather nice features, but she was always so busy doing the drudgery and being the family flunkey, that she didn't have much time to improve her personal appearance. However 'the worm turnedn and the exciting events which followed provided a very entertaining evening. Hrs. Allie Prescott.. Helen Pr9SCOtto 0 o 0 o 0 o Barbara Prescott..... Randy Prescott.......
