Second Row Cleft to rightl - Sue Merical, Betty Tuttle, Phvllis Morris, Charlotte Brown, Mr. Kallemyn Third Row Cleft to right! -- Carol Gintzell, Dixie Robertson, Kay Adrian, Patricia se-inert, Karen Grimm- The Soohomores started the year with fourteen students in the class. In the first semester we gained Duane Givler and in the second semester we lost Dixie Robertson. The subjects were World History, Home Ec., Manual Training, English and Geometry. These were taught by Mr. Smith, Mrs. Olney, and Mr. Longstreet and then Mrs. Heifner took over for Mr. Longstreet who was our class soonser the first semester. The class officers were: David Bogaard - President, Charlotte Brown - Vice President, Dixie Robertson - Secretary, Sue Merical - Treasurer. Kay Adrian, Dixie Robertson, Bet y Tuttle, and Carol Gintzell were the only Sophomore girls our for basketball. All the girls were in the girls glee club. The only Soghomore boys out for sports were Jim Tuttle and Norman Watson. hey were out for all three, football, basketball and baseball. In December we gave a Christmas dance for the High School and their guests.
