Walla and Jlfula When the masterful Miss Pebecca Bolt, whose hobby is psychoanalysis, inherits a spooky old mansion from an eccentric brother, she turns it into a santiarium for patients with phobias and nervous diseases, much to the dismay of her neice Benita. Hilarious situations develop as the unutsn start to pour in. They are Lutie Spinks, the man-hating maid Gertie Glossop with a contagion-phobia Cadwalleder Clippy with cat-phobia, little Wilbur, a problem child, Prunella Figg, who suffers from claustrophobia, Martha Grubb, The cook, Plunket who has a perse- cution complex, Twink Starr, Ben1ta's young man who joins the nuts in diSSUiS9, while Henry, the Negro porter, harbors a natural fear of lunatics and all their works. Dr. Hippocrates Joy a synthetic psychiatrist undertakes to cure the patients. Complictations multiply as Rebecca searches for her deceased brothers money, which he has left hidden about the house providing in a freak will that a portion of it is to go to anyone who happens to find it. Most of the patients prove to be fakes. Twink Starr makes the final discovery which forms a fitting climax.
