The Oyddff' W Za QEIR' ? LITTLE MISS SPITFIRE The play nlittle Miss Spitfireu was presented by the Senior Class April 10, under the direction of Mrs. Schleuter. The Smythe family, long accustomed to a luxurious life, has hit the financial skids and are in dire circumstances. Mrs.Smythe tries to hurry daughter, Dorothy into a marriage with the rich hanon Ortega and son,Jack,with the socially promi- nent Fanny Hall. Mr. James Smythe has accented the responsibility of making, a lady of his old friends neice, Nora O'Hara, who has inherited a large fortune. when Nora arrives from the country accompanied by Tobias B. Tutwiler, the fun really begins. She receives attention from all eligible males,and not only suc- ceeds in breaking up all romances but in winning Jack for herself. Ramon is exposed as a fortune hunter,who takes up with Fanny. Toby makes friends with Dorothy and there is a happy ending for all the Smythe Family.
