fa Senior History H The fall of 1941 found fifteen little boys and girls entering the little red schoolhouse at Grimes, under the direction of Mrs. Ivah Butler. They were Fred- erick Bagotti, Gladys Bates, Bobby Beckel, Joann Bohrofen Billy Carlos, Mary Cole Elbert Quinn, Bert LaFee Shirley Madison Patricia O'Donnell, Donald Stanley, Joyce Weiser, Kathryn Cox, Frederick Hunt, and Sammie Hunt. Mrs. Butlerwas also our teacher in the second grade. Thls year we were joined by Delbert Quinn, Italo Magnani, Darrell Thomas, Larry Kuehl and Elaine Parenti. We lost Frederick Bagatti, Bobby Beckel, Joann Bohrofen Billy Carlos, MaryCole, Elbert Quinn Bert LaFee, Donald Stanley Frederick Hunt and Larry Kuehl. In the third grade we were joined by Dorothy Anson, Jean Oyres, Doris Lomax, and Mary Lee Lomax, We lost Gladys Bates, Delbert Quinn, and Larry Kuehl. Our teacher was Miss Helen Seibert. Upon entering the fourth grade we were joined by La Rae Kussatz and Bobby Beckel. This made nine in our class. Advancing into fifth grade our teacher was June Walters. We were joined by Dale Johnson and Shirley Newton and we lost Bobby Beckel. In the sixth grade Ruby Lint, Donald Steiger, and Willie Weiser joined us. We lost Italo Magnani and Shirley Newton. Our teacher was Miss Dora Pagliai. During our seventh year we hada change of teachers. Lois Moserwes our teacher the first semester and Garnetta Jones, the second. This year Joann Bohrofen Beverly Peterson, and Bobby Beckel joined us. We lost Patricia 0'Donnell and Donald Steiger. La Rae Kussatz was absent from our eighth grade roll but there were two new pupils, Louise Cowden and Darrol Kramer. Miss Bertha Davidson was our teacher. Eleven very green Freshmen entered high school and lived through initiation. Mrs. Ruth Schlueter was our sponsor. Bobby Beckel and Darrol Kramer moved away during the year and Bob Slauson joined us. As Sophomoreswe lost Doris Lomax and Louise Cowden butthe class was again re- stored to its former number whenDuane Fullerton and Bob Wooters joined us. Mrs. Evelyn Johnson kept her watchful eye on us during the year. Mary Lee Lomax left us in the third year. Our sponsor was Max McCord. We presented our Junior Class Play UThe Wild Oats Boyn in the fall and honored the Seniors with a banquet in the spring. Entering our last year of school we have five girls and five boys. The class roll is Joann Bohrofen Joyce Weiser, Jean Oyres, Shirley Madison, Beverly Peter- son, Dale Johnson, Will Weiser, Bob Wooters, Bob Slauson, and Duane Fullerton. Out of our original class the only ones who have gone clear through school to- gether nre Joyce Weiser and Shirley Madison. This spring we presented the play ULittle Miss Spitfireu and sponsored publication of the annual. Mr.Parrish acted as class sponsor during our senior year.
