At last we were in high school. Under the experienced hand of Mrs. Bradley we got the ball rolling by electing our class president, Sallie Mewborn. When basketball season arrived, we contributed Connie, Martha, Linda K., Wilma, Marvina, Emily, Sallie, Esther, and Gilbert to the teams. To boast the morales of the teams, Nancy, Sallie, and Marguerite made the cheer- leading squad. The year went by quickly and we ended it by taking a trip to Whichard's Beach. At commencement we were represented by marshals--Emily and Wilma. Emily also received the Home Economics Award. 9
