Last Will and Testament We, the Senior Class of 1956, Griffon High School, do hereby state this our last will and testament. ARTICLE I: To Mr. Bright, we wish to express our sincere gratitude for his most able guid- ance throughout our Senior year. ARTICLE II: To the Faculty members, we leave our deepest appreciation for their patience toward us. ARTICLE III: Our individual bequests are as follov«: I, Pat Stokes, leave my ability to make errors in typing to Patsy Burney. I, Joyce Koon, leave my attraction for tall men to Pat Buck. I, Harvey Harris, leave my curly hair to June Haddock. I, Eugene Garris, the fact that I am leaving is enough. I, Bette McCotter, leave my B ' s, C ' s, and D ' s on conduct to Gladys Smith, although she seems to be doing fine on her own. I, Fred Taylor, leave some of my ambitious ways to Ronnie Stal lings. I, Herbert Purser, since I must take all my ambition, etc, with me in order to pass at Caro- lina, I ' ll just leave my reputation of intelligence toG.H.S. in hopes that some underclassmen will take after me Gulp. I, Marlene Dudley, leave my sophisticated ways to Phyllis Dudley and hope that she will take advantage. I, Alice Cannon, leave my low-toned voice to Judy Hart— now maybe someone else can get a word in ! I, Billy Cox, leave my ability to work Algebra to Nancy Smith. I, Charles Dail, leave my talent for walking quietly to Roy Garris. I, Carroll Gray, leave my ability to skip school without getting caught to Pete Adams. I, Dawn Smith, leave my love for Dragnet to Barbara Taylor. Now Barbara, maybe you can learn to keep yourself out of so much trouble. I, Lonnie Jackson, leave my ability to pass English to Jimmy McLawhorn. I, Alton Stancill, leave my ability to sit in on class and learn absolutely nothing to Wayne Ervin. I, Bob McCotter, leave my ability to drive a car to Wayne Ervin and hope he will be as lucky as I . I, Lawrence Causey, leave my ability to get along famously with girls. I, Robert Reaves, leave my ability to drive a school bus to Billy Reaves. I, Earl Braxton, leave my ability to sing to James Lynn. I, Linwood Branch, leave my popularity with A.H.S. girls to J. C. Adorns. I, Frances Cannon, leave my quiet ways to Shirley Coward, I, Jean Stokes, leave my love for school to Mac Chauncey. Maybe you ' ll be happier now, Mac. I, Alfred Boswell, leave my way with the women to Donald Bennett. I, Kenneth Garris, leave my willing ways and wonderful personality to Curtis Butler, I, Jimmy Burbage, leave my ability to be a smart-aleck to David Jackson, I, Joyce Batchelor, leave my sweet disposition to Peggy Jackson.
