WHAT IS YOUR EDUCATION WORTH? If you were asked to review your four years in high school and attach a value to your education in dollars and cents, could you do it ? You might be able to figure out how much you paid for lunches, football tickets, and clothes. You might be able to come close to the amount your schooling cost by including taxes, transportation costs, and the like, and adding the sum you might have earned had you gone to work rather than to school. Even so, we think you will find it difficult to put a price tag on your education. Maybe that ' s why as you venture forth from your relatively sheltered high school years to college, to your own business, to a respected profession, or to the company of your choice, you should sit back occasionally to think about where you are headed and why. Day dreaming or idle reverie are of little use, but purposeful thinking can pay real dividends. Such thin king makes it possible for you to realize the true value of such things as a high school education, not in dollars and cents, but in fulfilling your life ' s ambitions. E.I.
