Eighth grade intramural baseball team came in first place in their tournament. This year's track team did Very well with such accomplishments as Bill Alexander-'s 5'4 high jump, Tony Wright's 2:17. 2 in the 880-yd. run, Ron Treadway's 10. 6 run of the 100-yd. dash, and various other feats of strength. Mr. Ron Richardson, who coached football, basketball and helped with baseball, also coached track this year. He is a former quarterback at California at State College, Long Beach. 78 W Track member Ron Roberts practices with the 10-lb. shot. His best put was 45 feet. The Indians have closed the book on another thrilling year of sports. We were top com- petitors in all sports, either taking first or second place. Every athlete did his best and fought to keep up Griffiths' name. The bat- tle was successful thanks to the coaching and the attitude of the players.
