GRIFFONELL 1967 Griffith Institute and Control School Springville, New York Volume XLII 7o everything is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven . . . A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to reap . . . A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance . . . A time to get and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away.” Until now our lives have been inseparably interwoven with the threads of time by the common season of our youth. As seniors we pause, and can sense the impending change of season. We recapture a moment past, a memory of our last, four years, only to find it soon lost in the twilight of time. Now we realize we must look to the future-must pluck and harvest that which has been planted in us in our brief eighteen years-those seven thousand days of time gone forever. Now we must plant in others the seeds of knowledge which have been so carefully sown in us. It is now our season to nurture and build up elsewhere the miracle of life. For everything there is a season and a time . . . A time to keep, And a time to cast away.
