Tiz 960 GRIFFONELL Volume XX Published by the Senior Class of 1960 Griffith Institute and Central School Springville, New York In our area, we are all very much aware of the change in the seasons. They play an important part in our activities and sports. Our academic schedule is sometimes upset by the seasons. It is not uncommon in the winter to have a school day off due to a bad snowstorm nor is it uncommon to have one of the hottest weeks of the summer the week of June exams. Even at home we are aware of the seasons. We no more than finish the back-breaking job of shoveling snow, than we start in with another, that being mowing the lawn. It is with these thoughts in mind that we planned the year- book this year, in accordance with the seasons.
