PASSENGERS Norma Holmes, Vice-President, Arlene Koedyker, Treasurer, Edward Stahley, President, Patricia Kennedy, Secretary, Dorothy Moelhman, Head Sponsor. To the teachers of G.H.S., we, the seniors, would like to express our deepest appreciation for their patient efforts and understanding while trying to make us useful and intelligent citizens, both before and after graduation. We are extremely grateful to our parents for all the sacrifices th ey have made to give us a good education toward preparing us for life careers. To all athletes and sports fans of this school, and those that shall come after us, we have tried to show the spirit of true sportsmanship and support of our teams, and hope they will display the same spirit in the coming years. To the juniors, we leave our duties in running most of the activities of G.H.S., and the job of setting a good example for all underclassmen. To the sophomores, we leave our incentive to work and better ourselves for the future. To the freshmen, we leave our realization of what our important schooling has meant to us and the task of carrying on the traditions and good name of Griffith High School in an honorable way. To the above mentioned persons and everyone else interested in the welfare of our school, we leave this final thought — our class motto: “We build the ladder by which we rise.” 14
