SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS Bob Hattenbcch, Charles Adams, Richard Osborn Wayne Siltcnen, Pres., Alene Roberts, Ronald Kull. We, the members of the Senior Class of Griffith High School express to our parents our deepest gratitude for all the sacrifices they have made in our behalf, in order that we were given an education to fit us for our life careers. To the faculty and school officials, our sincere apologies for all the headaches and heartaches they may have suffered in the training and development of our youthful minds. We realize that it has been a tremendous — yea, an almost overwhelming task — but they have done a good job of it. To next season ' s baseball, football and basketball teams we leave our un- bounded enthusiasm and the privilege cf beating, not only their rivals but our own glorious records of the past year, if that be possible. To the juniors, we leave our positions to fill in running the student activities of G. H. S. To the sopohomores, we leave our incentive to work and better ourselves as future citizens of this wonderful land we live in. To the freshmen, we leave our realization of the opportunities we have in this small, but mighty school and the hope that they will carry on the proud name of Griffith High School in the manner it so richly deserves. To all the aforementioned and to everyone interested in the v elfare of this dear old school, we leave a portion of our abundant stock of loyalty — loyalty to our school, our community, our stale and our nation. And may this school ever continue to survive in spite of the calamity of our departure. Vag; Sixteen
