AFTER ATTENDING RECRUIT TRAINING IN SAN DIEGO CALIFOR- NIA HE WAS STATIONED AT WHIDBEY ISLAND NAVAL AIR STATION WHILE AWAITING MACHINIST MATE A SCHOOL IN GREAT LAKES ILLINOIS. SEA COMMANDS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: USS KEARSARGE QCVS 33j 4958 - 4965.
