Homecoming '67 Homecoming Week was filled with both new and traditional activities. For the first time classes built floats and entered them in competition with the Junior float captur- ing first place. Queen Rosemary Eilertsen and her court were announced the day of the traditional bonfire. She continued to reign over the halftime ceremonies featur- ing the band and Rhythmettes. The exciting week was brought to a climax at the Home- coming Game with the Gophers climbing over Beaverton 41-7. Drum major Cecil Jones leads the band at half-Time. 4 Junior Class float driven by Randy Stone captures first place Homecoming bonfire warms Gophers' spirits.
