Hootenanny has become a necessary word in describing the youth of today. lt is a casual, happy sounding word that well de- scribes the more informal life lead by today's young people, and yet it is a word which also carries a straightforward, serious feeling about it, which mirrors the feelings that today's youth have in looking at the world and its many problems. This past year, we feel, has been a Hootenanny of a year, not only in our high school life, but in everything else as well. The happiness we have known, the sorrows we have shared, and the things we have learned have all made this year one to be re- membered. There is a song which says, All the world is like a banio - every note is different, it depends on how you play. We hope that we shall learn to play very well. The Yearbook Staff
