T. L. ANDERSEN BOARD MEMBERS School board members are elected by the legal voters of a school district. They are the legal means by which the people delegate and exercise their authority to build and operate a school. Our board consists of five members, no two of which come from any one elementary school district. While they come from separate districts, each conscientiously represents the whole area which this high school serves without particular regard to his own neighbor- hood. They are: T. L. Andersen, Chairman, Powell Valley District No. 26, Multnomah County, H. G. Mullenhoff, Orient District Uointl 6, V. H. Sipe, Union District No. 26, Clackamas County, E. G. Larson, Gresham District No. 4, and W. W. Masten, Lynch District No. 28. Mr. George W. Page, Clerk, is appointed by the Board and lives in Gresham. A wide variety and a large volume of business crosses their table at each of their monthly meetings. The welfare of the Gresham Union High School student and the value of his educational experience while here are considerations which lie under all the deliberations of our Board of Directors.
