SHIRLEY FOCHT Early in September, 1935, the class of '39, approximately one hundred and sixty strong, entered the portals of our noble institution. The class was organ- ized under the leadership of Miss Frances Coburn, and the above members were elected as officials. On October 25, the class party was held in the school gymnasium, at which the freshman upheld ancient traditions by indulging in a game of Bingo . Members of the class have participated in all the various activities and sports, and hope to continue Gresham's high standing in the Big Nine League.
