After being initiated, like all freshmen are, we entered into the various activities of the school. The officers that year wore: Pres.- Leo Astrup; Vice Pres.-Darlene Swanson; Sec.-Treas.-Archie Price; and Student Council Rep.-Donna Mae Richardson. Our class advisor was Mrs. Cox. In the fall of 1945, we discovered the absence of two of our class- mates-Alice and Albin Wahlgren who moved to Fergus Falls, Minnesota. That year officers were: Pres.-Billy 3 usgjerd; Vice Pres.-Leo Astrup; Sec.-Treas.-Edwin Quarne; and Student Council Rep.-Penny La- Flame. Class advisor was Mr. Dietrich. In our junior year Darlene Swanson left our class to go to Willis- ton. Ra Mona Negaard, Zahl, Ruby Nelson, Zahl, and Eunice Tangen joined our olass. Eunice Tangen did not complete the year. The officers that year were: Pres.-Penny La Flame; Vice Pres.- Morris Storseth; Sec.-Treas.-Ra Mona Negaard; and Student Council Rep.- Donna Mae Richardson. Class advisor was Mrs. Dravland. The events of our junior year were the class play, Good Gracious Grandma, which was very successful, and the Junior Senior banquet and prom. When we began our senior year, we had an enrollment of ten. This year Ra Mona Negaard and Eunice Tangen left us but Darlene Swanson re- turned to finish high school at Grenora. During the school year Edwin Quarne transferred to school in Arizona and later returned to finish the year here. This year we put out the school paper, Grenora Gopher, and the ninth edition of the yearbook. The officers elected this year were: Pres.-Allen Skabo; Vice Pres.- Donna Mae Richardson; Sec.-Treas.-Darlene Swanson; and Student Council Rep.-Leo Astrup. As we seniors leave the halls of Grenora High School, We leave our best wishes to all those who may follow in the years to come. Cjraduatinfy Seniors 1 Colleen Anderson.
