Its aim is to furnish co-curricular activities to the stu- dents, who, due to the nature of the course, are often not permitted to engage in other activities. The second purpose of the TIDE Club is to promote Trade and Industrial and Distributive Education in Grenada City Schools and in the Community,

These boys and girls carry projects in cotton, corn, pig, beef, poultry, clothing, home improvement, foods and nutrition. They also participate in team and individual judging contests. Last year several of these members were on the County Livestock and Poultry judging Team which won Second and Third place in the District Livestock Show held at Bates- ville, Mississippi. This entitled these boys and girls to participate in the State Elimination Contest held at State College. These boys and girls are enlarging on their club projects for the coming year,
