For I know that we shall do great things Before we start riding in hearses. By far, the '29 Seniors Are rating :above the best. So listeni, please, polite listener, Lend ear while I tell you the rest. We have the great farmer Julian Who rides all day on a plow- Russell acquired wa new waist line And is a 'flourishing congressman now. Junior's a whiz at dramatics And a darb of theatre arts- Lewis, a Ford mechanician Who sure knows all HIS auto parts. Mariettia's our famed fortune teller And short-story writer as well. But about demure little Juanita We try hard, but never can tell. Dorothy, the short and fair-haired In a neat little worker at best. Marjorie's a most capable steno Who could pass any commercial test. . Elizabeth with her talents Stands at the head of the class. Gladys, so ruthless and conquering Is really a beautiful lass. Mary Ruth endorses cigaret ads At a thousand dollars per: Tnicile Corrie's a house-wife- We always thought it of her. Edna and Lottie and Stella Mae Shall minister to the sick. And when the voice of duty calls Thev'll answer sure and quick. Karl's another good classmate Whom we regret to leave behind. But the wider realms, than those we see In the present, I hope we'll find. Last but not least is Virginia Whose future is not yet fated. As for the rest of the exclusive cast Their stories I've already related. A glorious class they were-they are! A class who can rise, if they should fall. So here's to the best of comrades and pals- The '29 Senior-a toast to yow all.

It must be un- derstood that whoever disputes or tries in. any way to change this doc- ument must be cut off entirely from any of its possessions. We, the class as a whole, do will and bequeath the following items: To Miss Griepenstroh, we leave all the scrap paper that can be found. To Mr. Palmer, a book called Training Your Voice for Public Speaking. To Mr. Stephenson, a package of Golden Glint. To Miss Oldaker, we leave another pair of rubbers to take the place of those she wore out carrying to school on cloudy days. VVe, the individuals, leave our personal goods -as follows: I.
