This has been an exciting year for us. Early in the year we journeyed to the Buffalo Museum of Science, accompanied by our four homeroom mothers. Here we saw many interesting exhibits. Later, we took another trip to Hornell to study different kinds of rocks. At Christmas time we had a big party. Between the games and cake, we all had a good time. Looking forward' to our senior trip, we are building up our Uelillry- Each of our class members pays dues amounting to ten cents per pupil a week and we are also selling shrubs and trees to raise funds. Standing: Mr. Salen. The Junior Class, under the supervision of lk. Salen, started the year with fifteen members. We IO' UVB twelve members. Phyllis Mix, Edwin Vanderhoef and Duane Coates left us soon after school started. We have finished two successful projects this year. On October 2, s photographer from Webster, New Yflk took pictures of every student in the school. On this project we netted approximately 3100. Fehrnarv 10. we sponsored the james Cole Brothers Indoor Circus. The junior Class also was proud to win the Self-Control Contest. Much to our amazement we won the Self-Control Contest. As a reward, we went to Wellsville on a skating pany. We hope to win this award again this year. We also contributed lJecember's Student of the Month, William Vanderhoef. I . . . . The class has been very active in money making progects. We started by taking charge of the school store. Then we sold stationery and put on a bake sale.. G i We ordered our class rings in February and are looking forward go getting them in the Fall.
