Among the group were Anna Osmin and Ccrnelia Irsley, Who Ind started their school lives on the first day the doors of Greenwod Central were opened others were Donald Robbins, Gerald Green, Betty Kieff,Blen Fright, Mary Allen, Virginia Wright, Agnes Bailey, Robert Johnson, Dale Fry md Doris Spencer, most of whom started their school lives :Ln G G S :Ln the fourth g'ade. They found the first few days exciting and interesting Dale Fry moved to another vicinity during the year, and Donald Robbins and Gerald Green left school. The following year found the same group, with the except- ion of Doris Spencer who lmd moved to Andover, raring to p under the new title of 'Sopholnare' This year was different fran the other in that they found their studies more diffi cult. To shalse the burchn of hard work, they indulged in a few parties Ghristms, Hallowe'en, Valentine, and 1l'astar.The end of the year found Cornelia Ersley and Agnes Bailey on the honor roll What did the new year bring? Yes, a bundz of husky,ready to-go, robust Juniors under the advisership of Mrs. Wilma. This year ns the time for making money and the g'oup jumped into the job entzusiastically This was one of the happiest years of their entire lives. 'Oh Boy! My last year of schooll' This is what most of the Seniors of '47 said as tiny anxiously started their busi est year of school life They decided to take their trip be- ginning Lprll 'I and had but twentybseven weeks in which to earn S400 On November 22 they produced Rostand's immortal The Rammcers' with manbers of the Junior and Sophanore gang in the east, On .Tamxary 51 they sponsored a dance and folloled this at a later date with a public banquet This banquet March 17, was directed by Mrs 1' Stone without ixose help it could not possibly have been so successful The banquet was followed on March 28 by a one-act play The .Tukes Family' he play adapted to the stage by ltr Williams, class adviser The Seniors left mr New York on April 'I at 2 00 am. under the ad- viserrship of Mr William and Miss Deke, Greenwood School Nurse The trip took them throng: Schenectady, Llbmy, Newbxmgh, West Point, Ossining, md Tarrytown.
