RETIREMENTS DAVID NESTLE Mr. Nestle graduated from Johnstown High School in Johnstown, New York. After high school he went on to attend Hart- wick College in Oneonta where he received his BA degree. Later Mr. Nestle attended SUNY at Albany to receive his Masters Degree. Mr. Nestle taught in Otega for a short time before coming to Greenwich. He started teaching Social Studies in Greenwich in 1959. Since that time, Mr. Nestle has been active in the History Club and in S.T.O.P. In his spare time he has been involved with politics. His hobbies have been working with trains and growing Christmas trees. In 1984 Mr. Nestle was invited by the State Education Depart- ment to attend orientation sessions in item-writing for State Exams in Social Studies, DONALD BROOKS Mr. Donald Brooks graduated from Ellenburg Central School Ellenburg, New York. After high school he went on to atl Clarkson College for Mechanical Engineering. He then went on receive a BS degree in Industrial Arts at SUNY Oswego. He I attended SUNY at Albany and Columbia University to receive Masters Degree in Guidance. Mr. Brooks first came to Greenwich in 1956 to fill the position Industrial Arts teacher. He then left in 1958 to become the dustrial Arts teacher at Shaker High School in Newton, New Y ' t ' 1 l After spending a year at Shaker, Mr. Brooks moved on to Falls Central High School in Fallsburg, New York, to become Guidance Counselor. Mr. Brooks stayed in Fallsburg for t years and then returned to Greenwich in 1962 to take the posi of Guidance Counselor. Since that time, Mr. Brooks has been active in the Cn Country Ski Club, the Downhill Ski Club, and he has been coach of the Golf team. of The students and staff of Greenwich Central school would like to thank both Mr. Brooks and Mr. Nestle for all the time and effort they have devoted to us. We wish you the best in your future endeavors!
