Graphics is the art or science of drawing a representation of a three-dimensional object upon a two-dimensional surface according to mathematical rules of projection. Engineering Graphics, then, is the art or science of representing objects derived from the engineering design process in a manner and form necessary to define precisely their shape, size, material, and manufacturing specifications. Having worked on the yearbook staff, I now have a better understanding of Greenville Tec. We can all be proud of attending Greenville Tec because its faculty and staff, as well as, its students, have earned the right to be respected. l sincerely hope the '79 Tec-nique will help all of this year's stu- dents remember the good times, the hard work, and the people they came to know. Special thanks to: Mrs. Hazel Hall-for contributing her fullest support and dedication. Mrs. Viola Heath-for the endless hours she devoted to the year- book staff and the untiring efforts she extended toward the mak- ing of the '79 Tec-nique. Mac McDonald-for all the patience, layouts, and, most of all, the fantastic pictures. Lyn Winter-for being there when we needed her most. Chip Covington-for always being so happy and cheerful. I would also like to thank him for giving us so much of his time and for helping us with what seemed to be an endless number of layouts. -last, but by no means least- Tommy jackson-for showing so much dedication and hard work toward the completion of the '79 Tec-nique. No one could ask for a better assistant editor. William E. Hawthorne, jr.-for giving me all the moral support a person could possibly need. Di Anne H. Moore Editor 464 ,Q TW fri, ff Y L.
