Not only do these people promote dental health education, but they also clean teeth, which is their main job, apply fluoride solutions, chart, take and process x-rays. lt is the thoughts of these people that the patients take with them into everyday life making the dental hygienists the dentists hand away from the office. The freshmen dental hygiene girls learn by tedious practice, prac- tice, and more practice!
