Dori Kosanovich, Wells McCurdy. and Eva Lawson. r'- y sk , SENIOR CLASS PLAY ' VER SAN G FOR MY F ATHER Place: Westchester County, a suburb of New York. A conflict between Gene Garrison and his father is seen in the first act when Gene meets his parents at the train station. Margaret and Tom Garrison have just ar- rived home from a vacation which was taken for their health. Unfortunately, the vacation does not restore Mrs. Garrison's health. She dies soon after her retum. The daughter, Alice, arrives home after her mother's death. Alice's homecoming creates tension because her father banished her from the family for marrying a Jew. This banishment is an example of Tom Garrison's un- reasonableness which causes a disagreement between Gene and Alice. Alice tells Gene he no longer has to be the dutiful son. Finally, Gene realizes the truth. The more he tries to be patient with his father, the more his father rejects him. Tom's conduct triggers an argument. Disgusted, Gene moves to California. The relationship between Gene and his father is never reconciled. Time: now -T .1. . , v

JUNIOR CLASS PLA KGRANIERCY GHOSTU The time: 1966 The place: an apartment in New York City, Problems begin when Nancy Willard's good friend, Miss Bullock, dies and bequeaths Nathaniel Coombes to Nancy, Nancy is shocked to learn that Nathaniel is a ghost of the Revolutionary War. Nat cannot enter into Heaven unless Nancy proves that he is innocent of a charge of treason. Parker Burnett, Nancy's fiance, wants to put Nancy in an institution when she keeps insisting she has seen a ghost. Charley Stewart, on the other hand believes Nancy. This prompts-her to turn her affections to Charley. In the end Nancy ac- cidentally proves that Nat is innocent of treason so he is allowed to go to Heaven. Parker is haunted by Natls ghostly friends while the curtain falls on the embracing Nancy and Charley. Wanna lake me home, Mom? CLASS PROJECTS Sell a Mile of Candy was the theme of the Junior Class candy sale. The class of '72 worked toward their goal of 5280 boxes to raise money for a sensational prom. In the words of Mr. Scott, the sale was a sweet success. The team captains were: John Brown, Earl Butterfield, Shelley Ferguson, Harry Gebert, Mike Mehr, Jerry Wells, Janet Hovis, Laurie Carless, Abigail Yasgur, and Sue Zusch- lag. The high salesmen were: Kevin McDonald, Earl But- terfield, Debbe Hinkson, and Bill Shimshock. The high team was captained by Sue Zuschlag. The Seniors kicked off their magazine sale with the theme Battle of the Bands. Each team used the name of a con- temporary musical group. The team captains were: Deb Bresnan, Lynn Leonard, Roger Thompson, Heather Mit- chell, Vicki Rankin, Dale Smith, Dori Kosanovich, Jim Galus, Kathy Straub, and Janet Pearce. Janet Pearce's team, Bee Gees, was the top sales team and the top salesmen were: Debbie Larimer, Janet Pearce, Deb Bresnan, Toni Cianci, John Williams, Mary Sue Peters, Roger Thompson, Jane Davis, Dick Saylor, and John Davis. The money helped to finance the Senior Class Banquet and the Troian. 14 -fi '- UZ The J uggler
