October n Initially opened Homecoming week. Students entered the school and gai-ed upon lavish decorations provided by the Cheerleaders, Flash OHicers and Pep Squad OHicers. All organizations were featured at the very crowded Pep Rally. Cheerleaders led chants and yells as the gym overflowed with spirit. School was dismissed at 2:00 tor the car parade m front of the court house. Durmg pre-game activities the Homecoming Nominees were presented and Senior Lisa Evans was crowned by former Queen )ulie Baker. It you were to walk down the halls of G.H.S. during the week of October 15-19 you might run into some awkward looking characters. The school was filled with ghosts and ghost busters and lots more. Students dressed according to the type of dress selected by the cheerleaders for each day. The students enjoyed Army Day, Sixties Day, Spook Day, Jersey Day, and Red and White Day.
