'A iolting railroad tr traveling salesmen op annual production of the GHS. musical at the Municipal Auditorium September I5-io. This year's selection THE MUSIC MAN by Meredith Xwilson started production in early August and continued through opening night. The story's setting was in River City, Iowa in the early 1900'5. Professor Harold Hill, a traveling salesman arrived trying to find 2 reason to establish at boy's band. Upon setting up the band, he ran into an old buddy, Marcellus Washburn, who tried to keep Professor Hill's devious scheme f rom being discovered. - During the course ofhis sales, Hill stirred the attention of the Mayor Shin, who was sure Hill was a scoundrel. Nonetheless, Hill fell in love with the town librarian, Marion Paroo. Miss Paroo consequently saved the Professor in the end when an arch rival came to town to put Hill out of business. The choir carried offyithe two performances with a delightful note under the direction of join Graves and Pam Clayton. RIGHT: Greg Wisdom explains his love to jimi Bland through 2 song.
