The Tyler eleven quickly took command of the situation, and handed the Lions their first defeat of the year by a score of 27 to 0. Scoring quickly, the Tyler eleven led 7 to 0 at the end of the ' first quarter. Their 214 pound fullback, Harold Parker, pro- vided the punch that put over the next Tyler tally, that ended the half 14 to O.
