Homecoming Sparkles! The Autumn leaves were falling; Greenville High School prepared itself for another busy homecoming. The theme was Smurfs, and keeping the little blue elves in mind, homecoming week moved into full swing. Windows were elaborately decorated, and the week was filled with such memorable events as the jello suck, pie eating contest, and punk day. At the pep assembly, Mr. Matchett and Mr. Chambers received pies in the face, and the junior girls, and senior guys were victorious in the tug-o-war contest. TOP; two adorable Greenville cheerleaders BOTTOM: Smurfs adorned the windows. (?) and some smurfs show their school and Punk Day provided some of the stran-sP|r|t- gest dress of the week. 18
