Kent Ingles j.V. Basketball, Assistant Varsity Basketball, Assistant Track Tom Seaver Cross Country To go along with the Yearbook theme this year, we have decided not to dedicate the yearbook as such to any one person, but to a group of people who we feel show great pride in our school. These people show their enthusiasm and pride in everything they do. We have decided that the entire coaching staff really shows us what pride in one’s school is really all about These coaches are: Robert Gowans, Harold Deines, )ohn Mellema, Judith Hamilton, David Hannah, Bobbie LaValley, Gentry Mohr, Ken Reed, Larry Taylor, Mark Christensen, Scott Kraai, Virginia Johnson, Tom Seaver, Frank Stankey, Duane Chambers, Tom Schmedicke and Kent Ingles. How to you expect me to move my men when yours are in the way?” (Thad Taylor and Greg Merchun) Sue Forton, Roxanne Badersnider and Sandy Oberlin stir up spirit at a pep assembly. Pride is shown in student life. Students and faculty alike take pride in their various activities, both in the classroom and in their extra-curricular activities. Pride is demonstrated by a teacher who takes extra time to prepare special class activities and by the student who puts in extra hours to make his band, choir, athletic team or club the best. Come on, let’s get with it.” (Valorie Swartz, Mary Ann Vining. Cathy Rivett, Robin Perdue, Sue Nelson and Mary Lowry) The sophomore cheering section during a pep assembly. 6
