This year’s basketball season started on a high note with two wins over Beiding 60-58, and St. Johns 56-54. From then on the team had some pretty tough nights. It was not until five losses later that we came up on the winning end again. This time it was Lakeview that fell to the Jackets 76-73. Greenville then came on strong in the last half of the season beating Charlotte, Alma and league champs Hastings finishing with a 7-9 record. The team really looked ready for the tournament but after a well played game against Central Montcalm we were eliminated in a close game with Cedar Springs and the season came to a close.
