46? The frightened Freshmen arrived eager and hopeful that fateful day last September. At first they wandered to and fro trying to find the right class- room. Within a few days everyone knew what he was doing and where he was going. Out of the class of 210, Larry Myers was elected president, Joyce Holthouse, vice-presidentg Buddy Ogle, secretary, Ron Aten, treasurer, Collette Spidel, reporter. Homer Huston served as head class sponsor. They began the year with a picnic, which almost all attended. This was to serve as an ice-breaker. After roasting many weiners together, all had found many new friends. By October most of the Freshman girls asked boys to go with them to the annual G.A.A. dance. Then they all anxiously awaited the night of their first formal dance which was only two months away. Near the end of the year a stamp drive was held, and all Freshmen scampered about the town searching for stamps. Unfortunately, there was no freshman party because the money obtained from the stamps wasn't sent in time. Now they have completed their first year and are looking forward to their second year, a little wiser, a little more eager.
