High School Priiicijml Garland W. Kemper Garland W. Kemper, principal of Greenville High School, has served in this capacity for three years. Prior to his coming to Greenville, Mr. Kemper acted as principal at Ludlow, Kentucky, and Cynthiana, Kentucky. Mr. Kemper was graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western State College, Bowling Green, Kentucky, and obtained his Master of Arts degree in Education at the University of Kentucky. Also at the University of Kentucky, Mr. Kemper completed two additional years of graduate work. Mr. Kemper's duties as principal include administrative and supervisory func- tions of all students, teachers, and non-teaching personnel.

Superintendent of Schools Robert W. Duncan R. W. Duncan has served as superintendent of Greenville Schools for the past six years, and his duties encompass many responsibilities, some of which are school organization, finance, adult and student personnel problems, curric- ulum development, lunch room management, pupil transportation, school con- struction, public relations and instruction. Mr. Duncan graduated from Ohio State University with Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees. Before coming to Greenville Mr. Duncan was elementary school principal, high school teacher, high school principal, and superintendent of schools at West Milton, Ohio. Altogether Mr. Duncan has been engaged in the teach- ing profession for twenty-three years. Page Twelve

The Greenville Board of Education is made up of five members whose duties include supervising the care of the city's public school buildings and grounds, setting up the schools, curricula, choosing Well qualified teachers, and selecting textbooks. Clerk Robert Kolp Robert Kolp is Clerk of the Greenville City Board of Education. He keeps min- utes of Board meetings and handles all communications of the Board. The clerk keeps accounts of all district school funds, signs checks, and handles pay vouchers. He gives monthly statements to the Board concerning receipts and expenditures. Act- ing as secretary-treasurer of the Board, Mr. Kolp sends all required reports to the State Department of Education. Page Fourteen
