The school cafeteria provides nourishing and inexpensive meals which enable many students to obtain lunch quickly and conveni- ently. Not only do our janitors maintain cleanliness in G.H.S., hut, in a friendly manner, they are always willing to aid a student in need. The bus drivers who transport rural students to and from school are always cooperative and understanding. These people, though rarely given recognition, are an essential part of our school. We have derived great benefit from our four years in close association with faculty and students. Without help, we as freshman, would have been lost in the maze of upper-classmen, assemblies, and schedules. We will fondly remember these as among the happiest years of our lives. How well we remember that myriad of events: our freshman partyg our sophomore banquet, the first in the history of the schoolg the junior play which helped to finance our first prom, the senior playg the class advisers who were so patient and catered to our every whim, our last great undertaking, the yearbook, and the help we received from our advisers. Yes, we are proud to be members of the graduating class, and we hope that someday in the not too distant future the school will feel proud of us. Without their patient aid and guidance this production could not have been undertaken. Our thanks, too, to Mr. Oliver for directing the annual play, but especially, to each and all members of the Class of 1954 for their record breaking magazine sales and for the support, both moral and financial, they pro- vided the annual staff. Also our thanks go to the Indianapolis Engraving Company, the S. K. Smith Company, and the Magee Publishing Company.
