Oliver The German Club was reorganized in 1935, after being disbanded in l9l8. Its purpose is to promote an interest in German speaking nations and their people. During the vear several movies of Germany have been shown to familiarize the students with the customs and people of that eountrv. Seated: lvieredith Savle. Les Francais, the French Club, was organized in 1951 to stimulate in- terest in France and the French people. Students enrolled in French classes and those who have completed two years of French are eligible for membership. The club has one business meeting a month, and several parties dur- ing the year. One of the outstanding activities this year was a Christmas broadcast over station W. P. T. W. Page Fifty-Nine
