Hi-Y President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer Reporter The Hi-Y, as a division of the Young Men's Christian Association, strives to maintain clean actions, clean deeds, clean speech, and clean athletics. Every year the Y. M. C. A. council holds a series of district meetings. This year the local chapter had the dutv of electing the secretary for these meetings. Robert Buchv was elected. One of Hi-Y's contributions to the school calendar this year included an interesting talk by a man who had traveled and lived in Alaska. The purpose of the ushers of Greenville High School is to conduct people to their reserved seats at all public performances and to conduct formal dismissal at all assemblv programs. The ushers are a group of thirteen girls having the highest scholastic standing at the end of their third vear in high school. Members of the stage are on hand at all events held in the Memcmrial Hall. They run the lights and serve as property men.
