RAUDABAUGH Arithmetic English English Arithmetic Junior High The junior high department is extremely important as it aids the younger students in deciding what course they wish to enter into when they reach high school age. Arithmetic, geography, history, English, literature, home economics, for girls and shop training for boys, are a few of the required subjects. This department is carried on similar to the upper four grades only on a smaller scale. lt helps students prepare for one of the most important times in their lives, High School. Page Nineteen

M usic and Art These subjects offer to students a chance to display their talent in music or art. Instrumental music provides Greenville high school with a marching hand, a concert band and an orchestra. Vocal music gives the school a group concert and an A Cappella choir. Art helps students further their ahilitv in painting, clay and soap modeling, shading, cartooning, and de- signing. They provide the school with scenery and puhlicitv for social events.
