Soc Greenville high school's social science department consists of five subjects: civics, sociology, world history, U. S. history and family relations. Languages Three modern and one classical language are taught in the beginning and advanced form in our high school. French, German, and Spanish are conducted to bring about a firmer relationship with and a better under- standing of these countries, their people, and their habits. GLUNT ORPHA PALMER Home Economics Vocational Agriculture Vocational Home Economics Home Economics - Agriculture The home economics department offers to girls four years of instruction in cooking, sewing, home nursf ing, first aid, and mother and hahy care. Aid to personal experience is given in a well equipped kitchen and sewing room. Boys in agriculture receive four years of training in dairy farming, farm shop, animal husbandry, and crop farming. They receive much practical experience hy having projects. Page Fifteen
