Again there were elections, but something new had been added-the Student Council, and again there were parties but this time came the biggest and best party, The Junior- Senior prom. To finance the prom, the Senior Class Officers: Left to Right-Julia Davis, president: Emma Dunlap, treasurerg Mrs. Griner, adviserg Dave Burris, vice-president: Kathleen Gauvey, reporter. junior class play A'Last Stop directed by Mr. Shea, was given. Suddenly, these confused freshmen of 1947 had become the confident seniors, the class of '51. The policy self nomination for class officers was introduced by the Student Council. The Senior Class Play Not In A Thousand Years directed by Mr. Mahan, was given on June 7 and 8. The money earned for ticket sales was used to buy a new set for the stage.
