IN MEMORIAM DONALD MCNUTT WAS KILLED lN AN AUTO- MOBILE ACCIDENT ON OCTOBER QO, l944. DONALD WAS THE SON OF MR. AND MRS. PERRY McNUTT OF R. R. 5, GREENVILLE, OHIO, AND A MEMBER OF THE CLASS OF l945. Our junior year was a big one, tor now vve were on The third floor. We had a class play to put on, rings and pins to select, and the Junior-Senior Prom to plan tor. We had a big iob ahead ot us, so we elected Lowell Stebbins, presi- dent, Jim Holzaptel, vice president, Janet Horn, secretary, Dick Westerman, treasurer, and Janet Littman, reporter. Our class play was The Doctor has a Daughter, directed by Miss Boyer. ' And now it's The year l944-45. We're seniors and about to leave G. H. S. to take our places in The world. Several members ot our class have already left to ioin the armed services. Our election was held on the party basis, with Bill Elliott and Janet Horn coming out on top, as president and vice-president. The rest of the party consisted ot Janet Littman, secretary, Jim Holzaptel, treas- urer, and Jane Booth, reporter. We elected our Annual Staff and started it oft right by breaking all records in our drive for magazine subscriptions. The Annual Play, directed by Miss Alexander, was also a huge success. It was the exciting mystery, Tiger House. Our class party was held on Friday, the thirteenth, lust as our treshman party was, and we are still having pretty good luck. Well, it's about time for us to leave, so good-bye, everybody, and take good care ot G. H. S.
