G. H. S. It would well repay the visitor of G. H. S. to visit one of the assemblies. Dur- ing one of these periods everything is quiet UD except for an occasional snore from some Freshman. In one part of the room the visitor may see the type of student who upholds the intellectual standing of the school. In another one may see that type commonly called the single track brain, and that, usually, on the wrong track. The visitor may also notice that the student is not even allowed to sleep in peace, but is given a love tap on the shoulder by the teacher.
