Young, Walworth, Ed- wards iw , ln providing education that is necessary and useful, business education stands in the foreground. There is plenty of evidence that-in the immediate future at least-there will be a considerable increase in employment opportunities for office workersf, These statements of C C, Reigner, editor of the Rowe Budget, a business periodical, reveal the possibilities in the field of business for fitly prepared youth. Three distinct courses are provided in the commercial depart- ment of Greenville College. An intensive secretarial course is given, with a stenographic certificate award at the end of the academic year. Courses in business administration and economics are offered to those students training for executive and promotional positions. A qualifying curriculum for the high school commercial teaching certificate is maintained, supplemented with various subjects from other departments necessary to teaching. A liberal arts college setting gives to the School of Commerce the cultural influence of college life. This attribute, coupled with the technical training required in commercial fields, insures the production of a profitable business education. lvliss l-lathaway

The great spiritual fortress of the church back home is found here in the college church. Pastoral counsel and friendli- ness are found in the Reverend l. A. Williams. The great duty and responsibility of integrating college and community life has been very well executed by Reverend Williams. Interest in stu- dent life vvas manifested by our pastor in his presence at l.aDue Chapel and Burritt Gymnasium. The spiritual life of the campus vvas reiuvenated and strength- ened this year under the evangelism of the Reverend B. l-l. Rear- son, youth leader and editor of the Light and Life Evangel, and the Reverend l. N. Toole, evangelist from the Ohio Conference. The community as vvell as the college benefittefl spiritually from the heart searching messages of these men of Cod. Reverend Williams Church
