Under the direction of Julia Jordan, the eleven cast members performed thirteen scenes derived from the mind of humorist James Thurber. Pia¬ nists Ron Day and Kathryn Barrett added to the production, providing incidental music for many of the scenes. Vicky Wensel choreo¬ graphed Word Dance I and II, lending an air of sophistication to the show. Under the guidance of stage manager Rob Black, scene changes and lighting sequences were smooth and rapid. Through long rehearsals and exhausting set construction weekends, the cast and crew proved themselves to be an ensemble of dedi¬ cated people. The combination of talent, com¬ mitment, and just plain fun, the GCHS Players’ made their finest production to date. Plays 5
